Salvation Mountain

Leonard Knights (81 years old) is the creator of Salvation Mountain, a 40-foot-tall riotously colorful abode and straw tribute to God's love built againts a barren hillside near the tiny town of Niland, just east of the Salton Sea. (is about an hour from palm springs in the middle of the desert). Leonard began buiding Salvation Mountain more than 20 years ago. Leonard didn't create Salvation Mountain for him self. He created it to send the simple message of "God is Love" to as many people as possible. Source The Press Enterprise

Animal Photographer

I loveee animals.. Even though sometimes I am afraid of some of them (esp. snakes, lizards and cockroach. Yikes!) So I read about the animal photographer, Sharon Montrose on Cup of jo and I think that she has an interesting job. Very inspiring & looks so much fun playin with all those cuties, envyy ;) She photographs adorable animals - from lions to flamingos to knobbly-kneed giraffes - and sells prints online at her store, The Animal Print Shop. I wish I can hugs all of them ^_^
